How I Teach

Knowing the Biology or Chemistry isn’t always enough to achieve the grade you want.

That’s why my lessons combine clear explanations with targeted exam practice and exam technique.

1. Understand difficult topics

I break complex Biology and Chemistry concepts into manageable steps, using clear explanations, diagrams and worked examples.

2. Practise exam questions

We use carefully selected exam-style and past-paper questions to apply what you’ve learned.

3. Learn how to answer for marks

As an A-level examiner, I can help you understand what exam questions are asking for and how to structure answers effectively.

4. Identify your strenghts, and improve on weaknesses

Lessons are adapted to your individual needs, so we spend time on the areas where you can make the greatest progress.

5. Build confidence

The aim isn’t simply to memorise more content. It’s to help you become confident enough to tackle unfamiliar questions independently.
