Online Tutoring

Online Tutoring is location independent, and gives you access to the best tutors, all from the comfort of your own home.

I have several years tutoring experience, both face-to-face and online, and have experience in marking papers for the major exam boards. I can teach AQA, Edexcel, OCR A & OCR B exam boards for Biology and Chemistry.

You will get the same level of support as face-to-face tutoring.

The aim of tutoring is always to make sure that you understand a topic, and are able to apply it, instead of memorising by rote. This will give you the confidence to tackle applied and extended questions in the exams, something which many students struggle with.

All you need for online tutoring is a good WiFi connection and access to a web-browser. Tutoring is carried out through a medium of an online whiteboard and audio chat.

I will set you questions to practice at the end of each topic.

Question sets will include a mix of theoretical and applied questions. This will ensure that you have the ability to approach a topic from all angles during the exam. I will also make a personalised lesson plan for revision, based on the topics you find most difficult.

You also get a substantial discount on the first one-hour lesson, to allow you to determine if online tutoring works for you.

Online Tutoring is charged at £45 an hour (A level) and £50 an hour (University). Please get in touch if you require any more information.
